ABOUT HAILEY LAWSON
I'm a digital media professional, photographer, videographer, and content creator with 7+ years of experience creating strategic visual content for businesses, brands, publications, and multi-location organizations. My experience spans photography, videography, social media, paid advertising, and brand storytelling, giving me an understanding of both the creative side of content and how it can be used to connect with an audience. I'm also an FAA Part 107 Certified Commercial Drone Pilot, providing professional aerial photography and videography for commercial and marketing projects.
My creative journey began on my family's farm in East Texas, where photographing nature and everyday life sparked a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. I went on to earn dual degrees in Studio Art and Biology from Centenary College of Louisiana while competing as an NCAA volleyball athlete and participating in academic research. Those experiences helped shape both my creative perspective and the organization, adaptability, and attention to detail I bring to my work today.

Premier Pools & Spas (May 2024 – Present) — Media Manager for three Texas locations — Houston Northwest, Heart of Texas, and Corpus Christi — overseeing photography, videography, social media strategy, paid advertising, and marketing initiatives that drive brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
May Marketing Group (January 2022 – Present) — Social Media Specialist, developing creative content and digital strategies that help businesses strengthen their online presence and connect with their audiences.
SB Magazine (August 2019 – May 2024) — Photographer & Assistant Editor, later promoted to Digital Director, creating and leading visual and editorial content across print, web, and social media.
Through my own business, Hailey Lawson Media, I bring my experience to businesses, brands, properties, and individuals through commercial photography, videography, drone imagery, content creation, and lifestyle photography. Whether I'm photographing a brand, showcasing a space, creating digital content, or capturing people and their stories, my goal is to create authentic, intentional visuals that tell a story and leave a lasting impression.
Photography also remains a personal creative outlet for me, particularly wildlife and nature photography. When I'm not working on a project, you'll often find me outdoors with my camera, spending time with my family and two dogs, exploring beautiful places, visiting farmers markets and new restaurants, playing pickleball, or unwinding with a video game.
